Like millions of others, this show has continued to entertain me season after season. Filled with the most fascinating medical cases and paired with the world's most insane, rude, and cynical doctor, House has so many great plots all intertwining and developing.
The only point in this show's illustrious history of episodes that I found a weakness was near the very end of season three, and the very beginning of season four. It is at this point where all three members of House's team leave, two quit, and one is fired. This development left me with mixed feelings. The episodes where House has no team felt shaky, and although there was nothing unpleasant about these episodes, it didn't feel solid. However, towards the middle of season four, House's team is once again defined, and although it is composed of different people, I was pleased with the end result.
Conclusion, House has never ceased to entertain me, the show is solid, and continues to remain solid.

How I Met Your Mother is my all time favorite show! Composed of a stunning cast and a witty, ever-changing storyline, this show manages to combine love, crass, innocence, and wisdom into a brilliant viewing experience that leaves you feeling good.
One of the things that makes this show so fun is how dozens of elements are intertwined so perfectly! The storyline ties itself together and presents itself on a platter. A humorous object or scenario never completely goes away, but instead is presented with fresh air episodes or even seasons away from the original element. Take the story of the goat for example. There are snippets hinting about the goat several episodes before the story is even told. This makes the story even better once it pops up because you're curious about it and excited to see it appear. Then, after the episode where the story of the goat is told, there are points where it appears again, adding and enriching the existing story.
This show can make me tear up both because of sadness and hysterical laughter all within one episode. Here's a hint to make your viewing experience of this show the best it can possibly be. Watch the episodes in order! There are too many reoccurring themes to watch this show any other way! Trust me, if you've missed an episode, you've missed something that you'll want to know for the next episode.
I, for one, have watched this show from beginning to current at least four times already, and every time is just as good as the last.
All I can say is watch it! And help me find the parallel universe where it's a reality because I want to go there!

When I first started watching Kyle XY I was enamored by the intrigue. This show's first season is filled with twists, unexpected character developments and lots of heart.
Kyle, the teen featured in this series, has a magnetizing personality of gold. He is surrounded by baffling events, filled with paralyzing questions about his life and origin, and somehow manages to be level-headed and uncorrupted.
The Tragors take him in like he is their own, and instantly their lives, along with Kyle's, are filled with mystery. Who is Kyle? Why is no one looking for him? Why does he have amnesia? Where did he come from?
The Tragor family is the most magnetic family I have ever seen in entertainment. As the show develops, the viewer watches them encounter struggles that are realistic when it comes to families. They handle them as they come to them, and you can't help but wish that every family could be just like theirs.
The plot starts at the ground and sweeps you up as it builds. As the story develops it becomes more and more difficult to walk away.
I think the most amazing factor in this show is the acting of Matt Dallas. Very few men can play a character portraying the sweetness and innocence of a child convincingly. But more importantly, very few men can play that character and make it engaging for the viewer.
Another factor that I found interesting was the contrast shown between how Kyle handles his circumstances and gifts versus how Jesse handles the same things. It was an interesting look into personality and its role in how different people handle life.

However......
My instant connection with Kyle XY fizzled out towards the end of season two. The human factors and psychological ties between Kyle, the Tragors, and Jesse are soon eclipsed by more and more ridiculous scenarios. The solid heart of the show definitely had to do with the family and Kyle. Better still, the plausible scientific explanations for Kyle and Jesse's gifts gave the show a sense to realism. Both of those factors were necessary for the success of the show. Unfortunately it seems like the plot reached its peak too quickly forcing the writers to push the peak higher and higher, simultaneously reducing the golden personality factors of the characters and reducing the scientific plausibility for Kyle's increasing revelations to almost nothing.

Consequently, although the first season of the show had the highest ratings on ABC between 2006-2008 with an astonishing 2.1 at its peak and 2.6 million viewers, the third season was brought to a halt with only ten episodes. This quick ending was because the show's ratings were steadily dropping.

Overall, the first season and most of season two of Kyle XY was amazing! I treasure the show because every time I watch, it goes straight to the heart. Beautifully made, cast with absolutely golden characters, but the endurance of the show's plot was poor. However, the amazing first-half has given this show a spot in my favorites section.

Quite a while ago, I wrote a review for the original Stargate movie. (Link: Stargate Movie Review: then scroll down the Stargate) After watching the movie, I decided to check out the show. Since then, I have been piloting the Stargate bandwagon.
I started out with Stargate SG-1. I found nothing but but good things in that first season of SG-1. Not only are the characters engaging and relatable, but the development of the plot was perfect. It picked up right where the movie left off.
Each episode is unique and is blended with the perfect amount of humor, intrigue, and heart.
The story-lines keep me guessing right to the end. I have been very impressed with Stargate's ability to take individual episodes and use them to add to a much larger plot.
I learned early on as I began making my way through the seasons of SG-1, that it is not wise to finish one season, without the next season on hand. Each season ends with a cliffhanger that concludes in the next season.

Stargate not only entertains me, but it also engages my mind, giving me new ways of perceiving our existence and universe.

Midway through the Stargate SG-1 series, I started watching Stargate Atlantis. I do NOT recommend watching Stargate in this way. The entire Stargate SG-1 series should be watched before starting Stargate Atlantis. Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis are not two separate shows but instead Stargate SG-1 leads up to Stargate Atlantis, and much of the plot in Stargate SG-1 is needed in order to fully understand Stargate Atlantis.

That being said, I found Stargate Atlantis to be every bit as awesome as Stargate SG-1. Although the Wraith of Atlantis are a much more terrifying enemy than the Goa'uld of SG-1, the technology of Atlantis and the help of the Asgard help to even the playing field.

Overall, Stargate is extremely well-made, and well-cast. Every minute of both SG-1 and Atlantis is riveting, and filled with twists and turns that can only be found in well-written sci-fi.
Stargate is one of the best discoveries I have ever made, and it will remain one of my most treasured shows forever.
